Privacy
In brief: nobody follows you around on Toque. There is no analytics, no advertising, no cookies, no account and no third-party code on this site.
What your browser keeps
To keep your progress, the site saves a few entries in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are never sent to us:
- your results for each daily and numbered set — which puzzles you solved, how long they took and the morning score;
- unfinished puzzles, so you can continue after a reload;
- game statistics and settings such as sound, and your choice of light or dark tone.
Removing it takes one step: delete the stored data for toquepuzzle.com in the browser's settings. In a private window it is deleted when you close the window.
What reaches the server
When your browser loads a page, the request passes through our hosting and content-delivery providers, which see technical details such as your IP address and the address of the page in order to deliver it. We do not add analytics on top, and we do not use these details to build a profile of you.
Messages you send us are used for one thing, answering you, and are deleted once they have served that purpose.
